[Desert agricultural region]
This region corresponds to the Southern Andean region described by G. Willey, and includes northern and central Chile to northwestern Argentina. Influenced by the Central Andean peoples such as the Araucanos, Diaguitas, and Atacameños, they practice Andean-style agriculture and livestock raising, but with the exception of the Araucanos, most of these traditions have been lost.
[Caribbean Region]
A region that spans the Caribbean islands, northern Venezuela, Central America, Colombia, and northern Ecuador.
