In response to the backwardness of German capitalism, economics was studied and developed as national economics against the background of the nation-state. However, in the late 19th century, as the monopolies of German capitalism progressed and huge corporations were formed, mainly in the heavy chemical industry, conglomerates were organized between companies, cartels were formed, and competition between ``visible opponents'' in the market became a reality, managerial economics was born to elucidate the actual state of corporate management. ...
