...This is an inland bay shell mound where agemaki clams and clams are prominent, in contrast to the Goryo shell mound located about 300m to the east, which is mainly composed of Yamato corbicula (over 90%). The excavated remains are mainly Ataka-style pottery with inlaid patterns and concave dot patterns made of thick concave lines from the middle Jomon period, with pottery from the early to middle Late period also present. In addition to stone tools such as polished stone axes, chipped stone axes, stone weights, and bludgeons, bone thieves, oyster shell masks, shell rings, large marble beads, and boar-shaped earthenware products have also been excavated.

...The Atamadai style pottery from the middle Kanto region contains a large amount of mica, so that the surface of the pottery shines brightly. The Sobata style pottery from the early Kyushu period and the Ataka style pottery from the middle period contain talc, so the pottery has a dull luster and a slimy texture. The Oshikata style pottery from the early Hida region contains graphite.
