Conceptionism

...A child born to a man and a woman who are in a legally married relationship. The Civil Code is based on the principle of conception, which presumes that a child conceived during marriage is the husband's child (Article 772, Paragraph 1). However, before World War II, it was customary for couples to not register their marriage until the birth of a child, and they would often remain in a common-law marriage.
