〘Noun〙 A job title in the Edo Shogunate. A clerk who drafted Shogunate orders and communications, and handled diaries, official documents, calligraphy, family succession, rank, and investigations. They were subordinate to the Omote Uhitsu Group Leader and were paid 150 koku.
