Ashurian stone tools

Japanese: アシュリアン式石器 - あしゅりあんしきせっき
Ashurian stone tools

...After about 1.5 million years ago, a more sophisticated stone tool culture called the Neo-Oldowan (progressive Oldowan) appeared, characterized by the inclusion of primitive hand axes. However, around this time, some sites have been found to contain more advanced Acheulean (Acheulean) stone tools, including a large number of typical hand axes, either together with the Neo-Oldowan or separately, indicating that the stone tool culture was diversifying or changing. Incidentally, the Acheulean stone tools later formed the basis of the early human stone tool culture in a wide area from Africa to Europe.
