?‐822 A member of the royal family of Silla. Said to be a descendant of King Muyeol. Appointed as a samurai in 807 as Ili (second-class official rank), he served as the governor of Mujinju and Jeongju during the reign of King Heondeok, and in 821 became the governor of Kumcheonju. After his father, Juwon, was defeated by King Wonseong (785), he started a large-scale rebellion in Kumcheonjin (Gongju) in 822 and established the state of Chang'an, but was attacked by Silla troops and committed suicide.
