Japanese: 阿闍梨灌頂 - あじゃりかんぢょう
Ajari Empowerment

...It is limited to those who have completed the four stages of training. This is also called the Ajari Kanjo, as one can attain the rank of Ajari (a priest) worthy of being a teacher. The first Kanjo in Japan was performed by Saicho at Takao-san Temple in 805 (24th year of the Enryaku era).
