Asajiyama

...The landscape of large and small islands, branching headlands and inlets, and floating pearl farming rafts is one of the central features of the Iki-Tsushima Quasi-National Park. The best observation points are Asajiyama (188m) on the east coast, mentioned in the Manyoshu, and Shiroyama (276m) on the south coast, an ancient Korean-style mountain castle. The Ofunakoshi Isthmus, which separates the eastern Tsushima Strait, was excavated by the Mune clan in 1672 (Kanbun 12), and the Kusubo (Manseki) Isthmus was dug as a canal in 1900 by the Japanese Navy to allow ships to pass through.
