Also known as badlands. A terrain with complex valleys (rain fissures) that only see flowing water during rainfall, with the surface of the earth almost entirely carved into rain fissures. Land that is difficult to pass through. Often found in the loess zone of China. In Japan, it is found in the Granite region of the Chugoku region.
