Achilles - Achilles

…He was a man of great learning and deep affection. Among his works are the 12-book epic poem Thebais (The Tale of Thebes), which deals with the struggle for the throne between the two sons of King Oedipus, the two-book unfinished epic poem Achilles, which deals with the life of the hero Achilles, and the five-book collection of improvised poems Silvae, which he composed based on themes such as wedding and farewell songs. Thebais excels in dramatic narration, but has weaknesses in its structure.
