Akaboshiyama Mountain

...The northern border of this mountain range is the Mikabu Tectonic Line, and the southern border is the Butsuzo-Itokawa Tectonic Line. The Chichibu Belt, which is bounded by these two tectonic lines, forms the mountain body, which is mainly composed of Paleozoic strata, but Mesozoic strata are also intermittently distributed. The main peak is Mount Tsurugi (1,955m) in Tokushima Prefecture, and from this point onwards there are a series of high peaks such as Mount Maruzasa (1,712m), Mount Akaboushi (1,611m), Maruishi (1,684m), and Ichinomori (1,879m).
