She became the wife of King Mino, and had children such as Tachibana Moroe, and later remarried to Fujiwara no Fuhito, giving birth to Empress Komyo. In 708, she was given the surname Tachibana. She served five generations of the Fujiwara clan, from Tenmu to Gensho, and helped Fuhito, contributing to the prosperity of the Fujiwara clan. One of her poems is included in volume 19 of the Manyoshu. She died on January 11, 5th year of Tenpyo.
