(All over Hokkaido) A regional heritage site designated as a "Hokkaido Heritage". Ainu clothing has unique patterns applied by embroidery and kiribuse techniques. A wide variety of patterns have been created by combining the basic spiral pattern called moreu and the parenthetical pattern called aiushi. In addition to clothing, patterns are carved into sword sheaths, ritual implements, and everyday accessories.
