Aizu Highway - Aizu Kaido

This road runs from Sanno Pass on the border between Tochigi and Fukushima prefectures through Minamiaizu-machi, Shimogo-machi, Aizuwakamatsu city, and Kitakata city to Otoge Pass on the border with Yamagata prefecture. It is 111 km long. The section north of Aizuwakamatsu city is called Yonezawa-kaido, and the section south of Aizu-Nishi-kaido. It is roughly equivalent to National Route 121. 栃木県，福島県境の山王峠から南会津町，下郷町，会津若松市，喜多方市を経て山形県境の大峠にかかる道路。全長 111km。会津若松市以北を米沢街道，以南を会津西街道とも呼ぶ。ほぼ国道 121号線にあたる。
