Born December 14, 1909. A second generation Japanese-American. During World War II, he became head of the Language School Training Department of the Army Intelligence Service. After the war, he was in charge of the purge of public officials at GHQ, but resigned in opposition to the blanket purge of business leaders. He later became the first Japanese-American judge in California. He passed away on December 29, 1987. He was 78 years old. He was from California and graduated from Brown University.
