Yamburg

...It is estimated that there are a total of 13 trillion cubic meters of natural gas reserves in the Bilyuy River basin in Yakutia. Large natural gas reserves were subsequently discovered in Yamburg and Urengoy (Urengoy gas field) in Western Siberia. Natural gas from Urengoy began to be supplied to France by pipeline on January 1, 1984.
