Voltameter

...An instrument that determines the quantity of electricity, which is the product of current and time, from the mass and electrochemical equivalent of the substance that precipitates when a current is passed through an electrolyte solution. It is also called a voltameter or coulometer. The silver coulometer, which uses a silver nitrate solution, was used to define the international ampere in 1908.
