Saiwashin

Japanese: 蔡和森 - さいわしん

An early leader of the Chinese Communist Party. His wife was Xiang Jianyu, a female leader of the Chinese Communist Party, and his sister was Cai Chang. He was born in Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province. In 1918, he founded the progressive youth organization "New People's Society" with his friend Mao Zedong and others. In 1919, he studied in France and began the communist movement with Zhou Enlai and others. He returned to China in 1921 and joined the Chinese Communist Party, working as the person in charge of the party's organ magazine, "Guo." After returning from the 6th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party in Moscow (1928), he was arrested and executed while working in Hong Kong.

中国共産党初期の幹部。中国共産党の婦人幹部向警予は妻，蔡暢は妹。湖南省双峰県生れ。1918年友人の毛沢東らと進歩的な青年組織〈新民学会〉を結成。1919年フランスに留学，周恩来らと共産主義運動を始める。1921年帰国して中国共産党に入党，党の機関誌《嚮導》の責任者として活躍。モスクワでの中国共産党第６回大会（1928年）から帰国後，香港で活動中に逮捕され処刑。
