Triglav

Japanese: Triglav
Triglav

[Nature]
The Jurijske Alps, which run from the northwest to the south, join the Dinaric Alps, making for a mountainous terrain. Lowlands are found in parts of the Hungarian Basin in the east and in the western neck of the Istria Peninsula. Slovenia's highest peak, Triglav (2,863m), stands on the border with Italy, and Grintavec (2,559m) stands on the border with Austria. The western plateau has a typical karst topography, including the Postojna Cave, which stretches 23km in length.
