...Its abbreviation is Tri. It is a small autumn constellation located south of Andromeda, with three 3rd magnitude stars forming a long right-angled triangle. It is said to be a constellation since the time of Hipparchus of Greece and to be a symbol of the Nile Delta. The spiral galaxy M33 is an Sc-type galaxy with well-developed arms, with an apparent diameter of 62' x 39', a distance of 2.4 million light years, an apparent brightness of 6.3 magnitude, and its center can be seen with binoculars.
