It is a hairless evergreen shrub that grows to a height of about 5m. The leaves are alternate, have short petioles, are egg-shaped lanceolate with pointed tips, are 8-9cm long, dark green, shiny, leathery and thick, and have 2-3 vertical veins on each side. …
