...Around this time, with the relocation of the capital, academic and cultural institutions began to be concentrated in Moscow. In the ballet industry, in 1930, teachers from the choreographic school and leading dancers began to move from Leningrad to Moscow, and their choreographic works came to be noticed. From the mid-1930s to the time of the German-Soviet War, many talented people, including Ol'ga Vasil'evna Lepeshinskaya (1916-), developed, and the performance list became more diverse. After the war, Ulanova transferred to the company, and from the late 1950s, the company's reputation increased further with overseas performances. In 1964, Yu. N. Grigorovich was appointed artistic director, and the company gained sympathy with modern people with revisions of classics, including Tchaikovsky's three great ballets, and new works such as "Spartacus." ...
