The palace of the dragon king was called Nāgabhavana or Nāgarājabhavana, and King Ananta, the leader of the dragons, Adishesha (the original dragon), lived there surrounded by beautiful women. The palace was the most magnificent in the heavens, on earth, and under the earth, and the sage Narada, who once visited there, praised it as more beautiful than the heavenly world of Indra. …
