Toledo
An industrial city in northwest Ohio, USA. A port city on the western edge of Lake Erie. One of the world's leading glass (mainly for automobiles) manufacturing cities, with other industries such as oil refining, machinery, automobiles, and steel also thriving. It is also an important railroad location, and a distribution center for grain, coal, oil, and lumber. The city's name comes from Toledo, Spain. Population: 287,208 (2010).
