Onteiin

A beautiful poet of the late Tang Dynasty in China. His pen name was Feiqing. He was born in Taiyuan (Shanxi Province). Although he had a great talent for poetry, he chose to ruin his life with alcohol, sex, gambling, and other things, and ultimately failed the imperial examination. His final official position was a lowly official position of assistant professor of the state. The theme he liked to sing about is often considered to be decadent love, but his unashamed immersion in sensuality means that as a poet born at the end of the Tang Dynasty, he thoroughly gazed upon himself and understood love as a means of asserting himself. As a result, the seven volumes of "Wen Tingyun Poetry Collection" and the one volume of "Bieji" (Anthology of Poems) are successful in portraying the general human being that lies at the base of the special individual ego that each person possesses. He is important as a pioneer of zi as well as poetry.

中国、晩唐の唯美詩人。字(あざな)は飛卿(ひけい)。太原(たいげん)（山西省）の出身。優れた詩才をもちながらも、あえて自ら酒色や賭博(とばく)などに身を持ち崩し、ついに科挙に合格できなかった。その最終官職は国子助教という低いものである。彼が好んで詠(うた)ったテーマは、退廃的な恋愛とみなされがちであるが、はばかるところない官能への埋没こそ、唐王朝末期に生まれ合わせた詩人が、徹底して自己を凝視し、かつ主張する手段として恋愛を把握していたことを意味する。その結果として、『温庭筠詩集』7巻、『別集』1巻は、各人が分有する特殊な個(エゴ)の基底に横たわる人間一般の描写に、はしなくも成功しているのである。詩とともに詞(ツウ)の開拓者としても重要。
