...the Iroquois were Indians who lived in the forests of northeastern North America and spoke languages ​​of the Iroquois family. Among them, the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Mohawk were the five tribes that formed the Iroquois Confederacy (later six tribes, including the Tuscarora). The Iroquois Confederacy became widely known due to the research of L.H. Morgan.
