Plant science

...the branch of natural science that studies plants, and corresponds to zoology. Just as biology can be called biological science, it is also called plant science. While the living world is divided into two major kingdoms, the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom, there is also a view that divides it into four major kingdoms, prokaryotes, animals, plants, and fungi, and mycology is sometimes treated separately from botany.
