Pteria penguin (English spelling)

...It is widely distributed from the Kii Peninsula south to the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and mainly lives on the sandy gravel bottoms of coral reefs up to 30m deep. Pteria penguin (illustration) is a large species with a shell length and height of 20cm, and the left shell is well expanded to 6cm. It grows diagonally backwards.
