Pyrochroidea

...They appear from around May and can be found on leaves and fallen trees in forests during the summer. There are over 100 species of Pyrochroidea known from around the world, and about 20 species known from Japan. Many species in this family, including the red-winged beetle, have black bodies and only red elytra.
