Qurna al-Saudā' (English spelling) Qurna al Sauda

…The eastern side of the mountain falls steeply and forms the western wall of the Bekaa Plateau, while the western side forms a gentler slope. The highest peak is Qurna al-Saudā' (3,086 m), and there is a range of mountains over 2,000 m high. The mountain range is divided into three parts by deep valleys: the northern, central, and southern parts, but the altitude drops from the central area near the area called "Nahr al-Kalb, the River of the Dog."
