Located 7km southwest of the city of Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, along the Ootaru River. Hydrogen sulfide weak saline spring. 76℃. Legend has it that Ono no Komachi founded it, and there were 21 inns here in the Edo period. The hot spring water is used to grow soybean and adzuki bean sprouts, and mitsuba (hot jasmine) at an early stage.
