...There are various other words to describe theater, and as the Italian semiotician U. Eco explains, the diversity of words indicates the diversity of the subject matter itself and the perspectives from which it is treated. For example, the French word représentation, which means a stage performance, is a representation, or a substitute, or a representation, in which a story is reproduced and expressed by a human being (or a substitute, such as a puppet) who is not the human who lives it. In contrast, there is the English word show or the French word spectacle.
