...The face becomes apathetic, and the so-called typhoid face appears. Roseola appears on the chest and abdomen about 10 days after the onset of the disease. It is a small pale pink papule about 2 to 3 mm in diameter, and disappears with finger pressure. Roseola, splenomegaly, and relatively bradycardia (a slow pulse rate compared to a high fever) are said to be the three symptoms of typhoid fever.
