Medousa

…Gorgon is a female monster in Greek mythology. The plural is Gorgones, and it is a collective name for the three sisters Sthennō (Strong Woman), Euryale (Woman Who Leaps Wide), and Medusa (Woman Who Reigns), daughters of the sea god Phorkys. Since there is no particular myth for the first two, the word Gorgon often refers immediately to Medusa.
