Japanese: お染久松物 - おそめひさまつもの

A type of puppet theater, Kabuki, and Kyogen. This is a group of plays based on the incident that occurred in Osaka on January 6, 1710 (7th year of the Hoei era), in which Some, the daughter of a pawnbroker and her apprentice Hisamatsu committed suicide in the master's oil factory (Oumuro Chuuki). As a tragic love story between a merchant's daughter and a servant, despite their different social standing, this play was widely loved by people, along with Onatsu Seijuromono. The various words and actions of the relatives surrounding the young couple also show the distinctive features of sewamono.

人形浄瑠璃，歌舞伎狂言の一系統。1710年(宝永7)1月6日に大坂で起こった質店油屋の娘そめと丁稚久松が主家の油細工所で情死した事件(《鸚鵡籠中記（おうむろうちゆうき）》)を題材にした作品群。商家の娘と使用人とのあいだに生じた身分違いの恋の悲劇として，〈お夏清十郎物〉とともに広く人々に親しまれた。また，若い二人をめぐって展開される肉親たちのさまざまな言動にも，いかにも世話物らしい特色がうかがわれるものとなっている。
