Br.et R., which has white flowers over 30 cm in diameter, and the flat-stemmed night-flowering cereus (illustration), while the day-flowering group includes the peacock cactus Epiphyllum (illustration), the Schlumbergera cactus (illustration), and the string-like hanging gold string Aporocactus flagelliformis (L.) Lem.
