Stonehouse

...Food, shipbuilding, and clothing industries are also found, and it is also known as a coastal resort. The current town was formed in 1914 by the merger of three cities: Plymouth, an old port town, Devonport, a naval base since the late 17th century, and Stonehouse, a commercial port between them. It has often been the stage for history, such as when F. Drake set sail on his voyage around the world in 1577 and when the British fleet gathered to attack the Spanish Armada in 1588.
