(2) T-die extrusion This method involves extruding molten polymer from a horizontal die onto a cooling roll (casting roll) and rapidly cooling and solidifying it (Figure 3). This method has a fast molding speed and excellent quality control. It is used to mold films of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide (nylon), polyester, etc.
