Some researchers refer to this period as the Thakuri dynasty for convenience, but the central power had weakened, there were few documents, and many points are unclear. Under the Licchavi dynasty, irrigated agriculture, north-south trade, large cities, currency in circulation, crafts, and Hinduism, Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism were already in existence.
