Lacustrine terrace (English)

...It consists of a nearly horizontal, flat surface (terrace surface) and a steep cliff (terrace cliff) in front of or behind it. It refers to a terrain similar to that of a plateau, but the latter is used as the opposite of a lowland, and does not depend on the strata or geology that make up the stepped, flat terrain. Whereas a terrace refers to a flat surface that formed underwater in relation to a past water surface (rivers, seas, lakes, etc.) and then rose above the water, it is classified as a river terrace, coastal terrace, lacustrine terrace, etc. Therefore, it is called a lava plateau, but not a lava terrace.
