A film actor. His real name was Eiichi Takahashi. He was born in Tokyo. He entered the Taisho Katsuei Film Company's acting training school in 1920 (Taisho 9) and made his debut in "Amateur Club" (1920). After working for the Eiga Geijutsu Kyokai and Makino Films, he joined Nikkatsu Film Company, where he appeared in such masterpieces as "Paper Dolls: Whispers of Spring" (1926) and "Five Women Around Him" (1927). With his beautiful appearance and delicate sensibility, he took the world by storm as a handsome star. He later appeared in "Tokyo Chorus" (1931) and "Waterfall White Thread" (1933) for Shochiku and other companies, but died at the age of 30. He is the father of actress Mariko Okada.
