Kertesz M.

...He was the most prolific director in Hollywood's Golden Age of the 1930s and 1940s, and was known for his outstanding craftsmanship in all genres. Born in Budapest (Hungarian name Kertesz Mihaly). He made his directorial debut in 1912 with a Hungarian film, and had already directed over 50 films during his time in Europe. However, after seeing his period spectacle "Moon of Israel," he was invited by Harry Warner to go to Hollywood in 1926.
