Oyu [Hot spring] - Oyu
Located in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, along the Oyu River, a tributary of the Yoneshiro River. It has been used since the Edo period, and a hot spring inn was established here. Pure salt spring, 60-74°C. Convenient for sightseeing at Lake Towada. The Oyu Stone Circle (a special historic site) is 3km southeast. It is 8km northeast of Towada-minami Station on the Hanawa Line, and there is a bus service.

Oyu [hot spring] [Ooyu]

Located in the southeastern part of Niigata Prefecture, in Yunotani Village, Kita-Uonuma County (now Uonuma City). At the foot of Mt. Komagatake, on the left bank of the Sari River, it is an ancient hot spring resort along with Tochiomata Onsen. It is said to have been discovered during the Nara period, and in the Edo period, a bathhouse and a bath attendant were installed. It developed with the completion of the Okutadami Dam. Simple hot spring, 38-57°C.
