Japanese: 大物忌神社 - おおものいみのじんじゃ

Located in Fukuura, Yuza-machi, Akumi-gun, Yamagata Prefecture. Enshrining Omonokimi-no-kami. The main shrine is on Mt. Chokai, and there are two Kuchi-no-miya shrines in Fukuura and Warabi-oka. It is said to have been established during the reign of Emperor Keikō. It is listed as a famous shrine in the Engishiki and is the Ichinomiya shrine of Dewa Province. It was the base of Chokai Shugendo. The annual festivals are held every other year on May 8th at Fukuura Kuchi-no-miya and May 3rd at Warabi-oka Kuchi-no-miya. Other festivals include the Tsutsugayu Shinji (January 5th in the lunar calendar), the Mihamade Shinji (June 14th in the lunar calendar), and the Yama-kai Festival (June 1st in the lunar calendar).

山形県飽海郡遊佐町吹浦(ふくら)に鎮座。大物忌神をまつる。鳥海山に本社，吹浦と蕨岡にそれぞれ口の宮がある。景行天皇の時の鎮座と伝える。延喜式内の名神大社とされ出羽国の一宮。鳥海修験の拠点であった。例祭は吹浦口の宮５月８日，蕨岡口の宮５月３日で隔年に執行。ほかに筒粥神事（旧１月５日），御浜出神事（旧６月14日），山開祭（旧６月１日）などがある。
