...Agriculturalists and pastoralists who live in the vast lowlands of the Nile River basin in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of Sudan in Africa. They call themselves Jien. In the dry season, they graze cattle near the river, and in the rainy season, they live a transhumance lifestyle, gathering in a fixed village in the savanna forest.
