...Many species live in groundwater, including the large A. kawamurai , which can reach 3cm in length and has a nearly colorless body, and is known from caves and wells in the Kinki, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions. The sea water bug Janiropsis longiantennata (family Acanthidae) is marine, 3-4mm long, and has a light brown body with scattered black spots. Its eyes are dark red.
