Immaculata

…In other words, as mentioned above, Mary is said to be the Theotokos, the Mother of God. Christ was conceived in Mary's womb by the Holy Spirit, and therefore Mary conceived as a virgin. Moreover, unlike ordinary women who bear original sin, she is an Immaculata woman (virgin birth), and unlike Eve, who led mankind into sin, she is a woman who gave birth to the Savior (Messiah) and played the role of saving mankind. In this sense, she is also a Mediatrix, who intercedes for the salvation of mankind.
