In addition, a loss of the right or left half of the visual field of both eyes, with a vertical line passing through the point of gaze as the boundary, is called hemianopsia. A loss of the same side of both eyes is called homonymous hemianopsia (there are right homonymous hemianopsia and left homonymous hemianopsia), and a loss of the opposite side of both eyes is called heteroonymous hemianopsia (there are bitemporal hemianopsia and binasal hemianopsia). ...
