...The history of telecommunications has already spanned more than a century and a half, and continues to develop without rest until today as we move towards the realization of an advanced information society. GS Ohm discovered Ohm's law in 1826, and M. Faraday discovered the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction in 1831. Based on these discoveries, JC Maxwell perfected the theory of the electromagnetic field in 1864 and theoretically demonstrated the existence of electromagnetic waves, and in 1888 HR Hertz experimentally demonstrated the existence of electromagnetic waves by using electric sparks. The history of telecommunications began at a time when the foundations of electromagnetism were being established. ...
